17. Recoloring PowerPoint Clipart

Have you ever found the perfect clipart, but it wasn't the color you wanted? By ungrouping your clipart, individual pieces can be selected for recoloring.

Upgroup your clipart.

After inserting your clipart, select your clipart by clicking on your image once. Go to your drawing toolbar. If you do not see the drawing toolbar, please read Customizing Your Toolbars.

Click "Draw" and then "Ungroup".
note: The speed command for "Ungroup is Ctrl+Shift+H"

The following warning may appear.

Click "Yes".

If you do not get the warning then your may not be true clipart.

Repeat these steps until you no longer have the "Ungroup" option available. Once it is no longer available, select the piece or pieced you would like recolored.

From the drawing tool bar, click on the "Fill Color" icon.  

Click on "More Fill Colors" then choose the new color for your image.
